JOIN THE PPP AND SAVE AMERICA!

This blog has decided to form a new political party which will save this nation from having to vote for the likes of Mitt, Mike, Mitch, Sarah, Barack, Ron, or Newt. We need a new party which stands up straight and tall for basic American values. We need a political party which is committed to ensuring that each and every American will have joy in life and feel satisfied at the end of the day that something worthwhile has been accomplished. So, what is the PPP?

The Pro Penis Party of America is committed to preserve the essence of each citizen by only offering for election, men who are upright in displaying their capabilities, and are not afraid if each and every American has an opportunity to get a hand on changing America for the better. So, what does the PPP offer America?

1. Each week members will receive on their computers a selection of the best Penis pictures for the week.

2. Each member will be sent a free rubber glove to use in supporting our candidates in the fight to be rigid in preserving PPP values.

3. Each week, members will receive at least three stupid remarks uttered by Sarah Palin or Michele Bachmann. On Wednesday, there are bonus stupidities from Fox News pundits. UNEDITED!

4. Each member receives a special opportunity to massage our candidates to ensure what they wish to express, emerges in all its watery glory.

5. The PPP believes in Free Enterprise. We do not want government to lay a hand on our leaders or their right to fully express who they are. PPP supporters possess the right to let it all hang out!

Look at it this way, the PPP is the only honest political party in America. We will never hide who we are, we will always let things emerge from hidden areas, and while some pledge allegiance to the flag, we pledge allegiance with both hands and make certain our comments are known to all.

Tim Pawlenty Ends Presidential Run

I assume God is breathing a sigh of relief today, Tim Pawlenty has decided not to pursue his desire to become a candidate for president which means one less voice pestering God to bless him and his candidacy. We suggest other so-called candidates for the Republican nomination might recognize that Tim offers a way out of the endless trivia which passes for political discourse.  Just consider what awaits those who agree to end their speech making:

Tim Pawlenty can return to St. Paul and drink beer with his buddies on Friday nights.

Michele Bachmann can take in another twelve orphans and offer them a diet of nonstop preaching and praying.

Sarah Palin now has the qualifications to drive a bus which finally allows this gal to have a job that fits her qualifications.

Mitt Romney can finally allow his hair to get mussed up while he figures out what he is against or for these days.

Mke Huckabee already is pursuing his new career as a country music star. At least his requests to God have rhythm.

Newt Gingrich now has permission to seek out another mistress. He can solicit assistance from his current wife on this quest.

Rich Perry can finally go to Heaven and quit pestering God for rain.

John Huntsman can finally be with people who actually knows what he does for a living.

Whatever Happened To Big Ideas?

I was raised in an era in which political leaders argued over relative merits of Socialism or Communism, or Fascism or Nazism or Capitalism and men and women who espoused these ideas were heard by millions. Today, President Obama vies with Republicans over which group can cut government expenditures. Seventy years ago John Maynard Keynes offered leaders a theory of how to end recessions by increasing consumption, jobs and government spending. We have yet to be presented any ideological explanation as to why cutting government expenditures during a recession results in “more jobs.”

I lived through rise of women offering new theories for women, the Big Bang theory which presented evidence concerning the origin of the universe, quantum physics arose in my life, JFK offered a dream of going to the moon and FDR offered a program that eventually would lead to employment for those seeking work. We had leaders who envisioned an end to poverty but today the greatest concern of Republicans and Democrats is over avoiding hurting the feeling of millionaires since if they become angry they will not create jobs.

A people without dreams is a people drifting from day to day without any vision of what can be. They are trained to focus on what is today, not how we can create a new America in the future which offers meaningful lives to ALL citizens. Barack Obama never recognized that Big Ideas ARE divisive because they challenge current thinking. He prefers normalcy of no jobs and no hope and no dreams.

ON DEBTS

Republicans are not concerned about creating debt, but they are furious at those who refuse to pay off their debts.

Republican slogan:  ”Debt Be Not Proud”–Middle class will pay it off.

There is debt and there is investment. Republicans focus on debt rather than on investing in the nation’s future.

Republicans never met a debt they could support unless it was their debt.

I pay my debts. I am a member of the Democratic Party.

Republican Cong. Joe Walsh insists, “if you borrowed the money, then pay off your debts.” His wife currently is suing him for the $100,000 in child support he never sent her.

Silent voice in the debt crisis–George Bush. Better to chop wood than to disc uss what you did as president.

Where were Tea Party supporters when the debt was being created? Answer: Supporting those who were creating the debt!

A TALE OF TWO “RIGHTS”

The state of Israel was born in an era when Jewish leaders believed creation of a nation which would be home to Jews throughout the world finally would offer a center of liberalism and democracy. They regarded the state of Israel as a model of democracy that could be emulated by other new nations. During the decades following its creation, Israel was repulsed by Arab leaders who refused to negotiate, let alone recognize the new country. A lightening victory in 1967 failed to arouse in Arab leaders desire for peace or an end to violence against the new nation. Somewhere in the ensuing years, right wing fanatics gained control of Israel and used newly acquired areas in the West Bank as an opportunity to extend Jewish control of their desires land of Israel that extended from the Mediterranean to — wherever Israel could extend its power.

But, something more nefarious gained control of the Israel people. Religious fanatics used fear and hate to erode rights of Palestinians and refuse to negotiate with Palestinian leaders. Today, new legislation in Israel even denies freedom of speech to utter words in support of Palestinians. Naturally, this erosion of democracy is cited as necessary in order to protect democracy. Right wingers have triumphed in Israel and its people have become sheep like in accepting the end of their democracy.

We Americans also have l lived through a similar experience. The New Deal ushered in decades of social democracy in order to protect the rights of those who were poor and helpless. However, during the past decades our right wing fanatics used the media, fear, and hate in order to persuade Americans their freedom was the cause of losing their freedom. Vicious attacks on welfare, the lazy elderly and the criminal unions were justified as reasons to reduce taxes on the wealthy and cut social services. America, like Israel, is headed toward a destiny in which original values of social democracy must cease in order to protect the powerful or protect religious fanatics.

JB Folks, that damn African in the White House is attempting to make us out as a bunch of defenders of wealthy people rather than as defenders of the American way of life.
MB Frankly, listening to that Obama gives me a splitting headache.
EC We have to stand firm. Frankly, I, along with most Tea Party folk in the House, are not going to be frightened by wild stories concerning not being able to pay debts. People in the world trust the USA, heck we saved them in two world wars, we saved the people of Iraq and the people of Afghanistan, let’s not get scared.
SP Well, I have some good news, another grandchild. Every time I hear that Obama fella speak, I want to reach for my rifle and have some target practice.
JB Sara, please don’t say that in public. Frankly, I think Obama is bluffing. He has always backed down and he will again. We have to stand firm and not allow him to get his way and get all the credit.
EC Right, the issue is not whether the US pays its debts, the issue is how does the Republican party come out ahead as the one who saved this country. We have to play hardball.SP
SP I was talking to my stockbroker and he urged that we not give in on higher taxes for the wealthy. After all, they are job creators and if they are forced to live on less than ten million a year, we can expect them to flee to some country like Germany or Australia.
MB I always get a bit confused, is Australia the country near Germany?
JB No, it’s the island country. But, we all have to stand firm for America. Now, if we do have to default, I have arranged with Fox News for a 24 hour a day report on “how Obama wrecked the American economy” series of programs.
EC Do you think we can get the Anthony Weiner story going again? It sure diverts attention from Default.
MB I talked with Glenn and Rush. Both said they will focus this week on the birther issue. Keep blasting away at Obama as a foreigner.
JB Well, there is one thing I will not do–answer that guy’s phone calls! Who the hell does he think he is, president of the USA?
MB Well, John, I have some good news. I spoke with God last night and he told me to tell you that we must stand firm against atheists from Africa.

STEPS TO POLITICAL HEALTH IN AMERICA

The United States needs a new health policy for its politicians.

1. Majority rules in Congress

2. Require compulsory courses in economics for all members of Congress.

3. Social security tax is placed on ALL income.

4. The Attorney General must be a member of the party not in power.

5. All conversations between members of Congress and lobbyists are taped.

6. All political parties have TV time based on percent of vote obtained in last presidential election.

7. Congressmen must submit proof each week that at least ten meals were eaten at home.

8. Each week at least one lunch time meal must be eaten together by members of the Republican and Democratic party.

9. A nomination submitted by the president must be acted upon within ninety days, yes or no.

10. In each state a non-partisan group decides congressional district boundaries.

11. “Rule of Ten” means no member can delay a vote on a bill for more than ten days.

12. Wives of members of Congress have a weekly luncheon with discussion about politics off limit.

13. The president of the US must have a private meeting with each member of Congress during the year.

14. At least ten percent of the Cabinet must be under the age of 30.

15. The president server one term of five years and no more.

ON IMMIGRANTS — ANY TYPE!

My pap walked a thousand miles to get a boat which took him to America. So does an illegal immigrant walk hundreds of miles. They are my brothers and sisters–WELCOME TO THE PROMISED LAND!

I am an immigrant in heart and soul. So are you. Only you don’t know it.

Each person whether from Asia or Africa or Europe is an illegal immigrant. Heck, the Indians came from Asia and never had the legal right to enter.

Alexander Hamilton was an immigrant who created our banking system.

My uncle was an illegal immigrant from Germany in 1919. The immigration people caught up with him in 1922, The said: “Mr. Zuckerman, you are a hard working baker with two nice children. Study to become a citizen and when you become one, vote.” He did what they asked. How many born here vote in every election?

If I turn my back on an illegal immigrant, I turn my back on myself.

By the way, has anyone ever seen the birth certificate of Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, Andrew Johnson, Andrew Jackson, etc…?

I am an American and so are any dwelling in our nation.

I once stood on a street in Frankfurt, Germany where my uncles and aunts used to live. I cried in gratitude they had been able to flee Nazi Germany in time. Yes, they were immigrants.

During World War I, one of my uncles fought in the German army, one in the Austrian army, one in the Russian army, and one in the American army. We are an all American family.

Newt Neutralized By Staff

Alas, Newt has been abandoned by those who lack faith in the man of history who wants to make history, but may wind up becoming history. Sixteen members of his staff flew the coup and exited in hopes of finding a more powerful sage somewhere south in the state of Texas. Staff members complained that Newt Gingrich did not listen to what they said and preferred the advice of the woman he married–or, at least one of the three women he married. Newt insisted, “we make decisions as a couple.” He expressed no fear at being deserted because the man who regards himself as one who is destined to greatness knows the American people love a fighter. “I want a campaign based on ideas and solutions, and I want to bring Americans together.”

Let’s see, he wants ideas and solutions:

1. Reduce taxes on the wealthy which will result in more jobs.

2. Reduce taxes on the wealthy which means the Federal government has more money to pay down debts.

3. No medical care from the government. That definitely will bring Americans without medical care together–at the Emergency room, that is!

Think about a President Gingrich making decisions on war and peace:

“Honey, I sent the Chief of Staff home and the Secretary of State is waiting outside until you give me advice as to whether we should be in Afghanistan.”

Oh, he wants to bring us together:

“We don’t need people born in Kenya to be the president.”

Republican Elephants On Rampage!

A story from India has great relevance to the United States and the behavior of the Republican party. Four elephants wandered out of a forest, approached a farm, and encountered frightened people. Two fled back to the safety of a forest, one became trapped on the farm and one dashed for a nearby city and went on a rampage. He barelled though the streets knocking over cars and stands until he dashed down an alley, confronted a frightened man who was then gored to death. Finally, police fired a tranquilizer to calm the elephant. The incident reminded me of Republican party behavior since arriving from the forest of defeat. LIke the elephants, the Republican elephants are frightened and lost in the reality of modern life. Most seek to return to the safety and serenity of a quiet forest which has not been touched by modern life.

Wild statements about cutting taxes in order to reduce the deficit or giving wealthy people more money so they will use it to create jobs lack any semblance to economic reality. In their mad dash to level every structure in place to assist poor people or those unemployed, Republicans not only gore to death effective means to assisting those in need, they undo the work of half a century and the result is people are being gored to death.

It is unfortunate that Republicans do not live up to an elephant’s remarkable memory capacity. Let Republicans proceed and the Recession will shortly become DEPRESSION II.
