There are times when “the good fight” is the wrong one.

Some inhabit a world of abstractions, some of reality.

Our stomachs dominate daily lives as much as do our minds.

I would never hire God to design a body.

If you marry someone who desires to enter politics, keep a diary. It will come in handy and lucrative if the person dumps you.

In the end, I am alone with myself.

Few Americans can or desire to understand a peasant mind. My folks had such minds.

The line I hope to never hear is: “abandon boat.”

Of course, it you want to live longer, head for France or  the Netherlands or one of those alien places which provide excellent health care for ALL citizens. You can head for Germany if you want to get a job or if you prefer being around people who are not over weight, why not stop in France.
