Mitt Rings Liberty Bell For Bigots!

Mitt Romney appeared at Liberty University to give a commencement address before nice, polite conservative young men and women. He was speaking at a college founded by Jerry Falwell who blamed AIDs on the “wrath of a Just God against homosexuals” so what else could Mitt do but blast gays and lesbians. “Marriage is a relationship between one man and one woman.”

Gee, that clears things up given that the Romney family used to practice polygamy which entails one man with several women. His grandfather escaped to Mexico so he could have more than one woman as his wife. If polygamy is evil that means Mitt  was born in evil and thus must serve the purposes of the Devil, himself!!

“What Was That I Said?”

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker enjoys portraying himself as a noble k night holding off the hordes of barbarians who seek to defile the people of his land. Scott is being confronted by videos which depict him telling a millionaire supporter of  a desire to crush unions and create chaos in his state. Diane Hendricks told the man to whom she gave money that she expected a “right-to-work” state would be established. In other words, a state in which workers can not form unions and must obey the whims and desires of bosses.

 

Scott responded: “well, we’re going to start in a couple of weeks” our campaign to achieve your desires. “The first step we’re going to deal with is collective bargaining for all public employees” and that will be accomplished by a “divide and conquer campaign.” Mr. Walker claims to lack any  recollection of what he said.

Israel Blasts Jew Haters In EU!

The one consistent message of the Israel government of Benjamin Netanyahu is that any presentation of  what transpires in Israel is condemned  as examples of Jew haters seeking to destroy his nation. Once again, the European Union urged Israel to focus on peace instead of taking actions whose end result will be conflict and hatred. The goal of the EU, as well as those who seek peace and prosperity for Israelis is the presence of “two nations, side by side,” working together for peace.

Instead of peace, the EU seeks acceleration of settlement construction, evictions and demolitions  and evictions of Palestinians. Instead of peace there is constant violence–not by Palestinians under the Palestinian Authority, but settlers who “threaten to  make a two state solution impossible.”

Netanyahu once again denounces such presentation of reality as biased against Jews and not in accordance with “realities on the ground.” As one who has been termed a “self hating Jew” because I seek peace for ALL in the Middle East, the Israel government has met the enemy, and he is them!

Libya Redeux

The campaign to drive Muammar Gaddafi from power required attacks on his military forces as well as destroying military facilities. NATO forces carried out 9,600 strikes upon 5,900 targets which eventually allowed rebel forces to defeat the Gaddafi army. These bombings were made against many urban targets which raised the likelihood that innocent civilians might die. The Human Rights Watch estimates at least 72 innocent people died. There are now demands from Libyans for punishment of NATO pilots who carried out these raids.

War is hell. Carrying out 9,600 missions which result in 72 civilian deaths is a miracle, not a sign of savage behavior. Gaddafi placed many of his military facilities within urban areas which made it impossible to wipe them out without some deaths to civilians. Gaddafi is gone. Libya is in chaos as the victors fight over spoils of war. The only criminals from the rebellion are among those who now run the nation–for their own benefit and power!

Taliban Say Talley HO!

The ever confusing minds of Taliban leaders once again emerged to express belief they are simply peaceful folk in search of stability in Afghanistan. The Taliban regards itself as supporters of peace and calm in the  country against warlike US and NATO forces. Agha Jan Motasin, of the Taliban Council, outlined the problem in his nation and among his followers. There are those who believe foreigners(Americans, that is) “want to solve the problem” and there are peace loving Talibans who want to end fighting.

“I can tell you though, that the majority of the Taliban and the Taliban leadership want a broad based government for all Afghan people and an Islamic system like other Islamic countries.” And the way to achieve that goal is: (a) release captured Taliban soldiers, (b) take the names of Talibans off list of terrorists, and (c) accept the Taliban as a political party.”

Sounds fairly achievable. Of course, what is meant by “Islamic law?” There is a world of difference between Turkey and Saudi Arabia.

We offer observations on the human condition from a 21 year old mind trapped in an 81 year old body.

NOBODY ASKED ME BUT

The unknown is an opportunity, never turn down exploring it.

Sincerity in the cause of hate is rather insincere.

Athletes hug and kiss one another, friends on meeting do likewise, but if gays duo it…. the world will collapse.

Some stride with certainty, I just stride.

Question: If fast food employees eat the food is that a good or a bad sign?

Some must take the last sip before existing.

I never use a straw.God doesn’t use one, so why should I?

I do not flip pages when eating.

Listening is truly a lost art in American colleges.

We learn by doing or not doing.

If you want to know Mitt’s view, just tell him what you believe in, he will find a way to agree with you.

In entering a shop some take off sunglasses while others flip them to top of head. I am of the latter persuasion.

Morning silence is more somber than evening silence.

Republican Hot Air Threatens Planet!!

Recent scientific studies dealing with the age of dinosaurs pose serious issues to the United States of America. Huge plant eating dinosaurs produced enough greenhouse gas by breaking wind to generate enormous quantities of methane. Scientists believe “microbes living in Sauropod dinosaurs could have produced enough methane to have an important effect on Mesozoic climate. An estimated 472 million tons of hot air were generated by dinosaurs.

We are concerned since the United States has millions of Republicans and members of the Tea Party. If you think dinosaurs produced a lot of hot air, just imagine the enormous quantities produced by Republicans and Tea Party folk? Imagine the daily out put of Newt Gingrich alone! We believe there is need for new legislation that will limit hot air comments by any Republican seeking office.

PROTECT THE PLANET, LIMIT REPUBLICAN HOT AIR EMISSION!!!

CEOs Plead Poverty

I realize that the Socialist Democratic party has waged a non-stop war against our  beloved job creators because they hate any executive who wants to make America enjoy the free enterprise system. Instead, executives are forced to dwell in a land in which hatred of those who make money is fostered by the Obama administration. Latest figures concerning CEO pay prove the Democratic party wants to destroy the American economy.

US Chief CEOs ONLY received raises of about 15%! Their average pay in 2011 was ONLY $5.8 million! How in God’s name can an executive get along on ONLY five million? This is analogous to the North Korean government which sends people to gulags. Obama is waging war against those who create and wants to take their money and distribute it to welfare cheats and drug addicts. OK, so CEO folk gave out 3.2% raises at a time when inflation was 2.7%. But, this means they gave at least a ONE PERCENT RAISE of THEIR MONEY to those who work for them!

Obama wants to destroy free enterprise and the first step is driving CEOs to poverty. First they came for the CEO, then they came for the Wall Street brokers,and then they came FOR YOU!

Wither Afghanistan In 2014?

The American people are tired of wars, they are fatigued with wars far away in distant lands  containing people who differ from traditional immigrants to this nation. President Obama recently signed an agreement with President Hamid Karzai of Afghanistan which entails departure of American armed forces from that land by 2014. Small contingents of  trainers will remain for years. The agreement appears to solve a problem –or does it? In reality, the agreement creates problems for the people of Afghanistan.

Currently, about 98% of the GDP of Afghanistan derives from outside economic and military assistance. US aid alone the past year was $15.7 billion. This means thousands of jobs are connected to foreign aid or military forces. Once American troops leave they also leave with jobs and money and leave behind        women groups that lack financial support to continue aiding females.

Yes, we leave behind a small group of wealthy Afghans, but the vast majority need our financial support. American political leaders are cutting government expenditures, and if they cut Afghan support, we can witness the return to power of the Taliban.
