Sarko Will Get Socked By Voters

President Nicholas Sarkozy faces the prospect of defeat in his run to once again be president of France. Every poll indicates that after first round voting, which will not allow any candidate to secure a majority, the May 6 vote will result in victory for Socialist candidate Hollande. But, Nick is not giving up and has promised to “lead the people” to the barricades. His words remind one of the French Revolution only this time the King is Sarkozy so why lead the people against himself?

France has economic problems stemming from a large portion of the GDP going to furnish welfare services. The issue is how can a society provide for all sectors while at the same time being economically prudent? If Hollande can prove capable of this trick, he will truly be the miracle man of France.

Sarkozy Swirls Around Seeking Answers

Nicolas Sarkozy is running not merely to get re-elected but for his life as a politician. Like so many Republicans in the USA, Nick the He-Man wants to demonstrate that, if elected, he will make certain no Muslim kills anyone. Of course, if Christians kill one another, that is a different situation and not of concern to him. Latest polls reveal the boost he got when a Muslim French fanatic killed innocent people has now gone down. For some reason, putting bad Muslims in jail does not translate into new jobs for people.

Sarkozy has to decide whether to go left or go right. Should he focus on programs that produce jobs or should he focus on “it’s time to hate Muslims?” Going the road of hate usually produces short term results, but tomorrow still leaves the average voter with no job, no opportunities to get job training and limited unemployment money.

The Third Man In France

France, like most European nations and like the United States is experiencing a world in which those with wealth become wealthier while the middle class shrinks and the number who are poor increases. Conservative President Sarkozy is a French version of Mitt Romney who preaches the doctrine that lower taxes and never saying nasty things will encourage those with wealth to create more jobs. The French presidential race is becoming confused due to the candidacy of Jean-Luc Melenchon who is now the voice of anti-capitalism

He blames “Anglo Saxon” ideas of competition as the source of all economic evil in the world. “Les Anglo Saxons”and their “stinking money” are the source of unemployment in France. “We can put our belief in love and humanity above the religion of competition.” Jean-Luc wants France to leave the European Union, end free trade agreements, give more to the middle class and so on.

I believe in Socialism. I also recognize there is no contradiction between believing in socialism and also supporting competition. Competition is not the problem, it is uncontrolled competition which creates problems. France must stimulate competition which leads to a ripple effect of more jobs and higher pay for the poor and middle classes.

Left Pushes Hard In France

Once upon a time, a long, long time ago in the United States of America we actually had political parties which championed the rights of the middle classx and poor people. Alas, today, we have political parties which vie with one another to prove loyalty to the upper one percent of our wealthy population. The people of France continue believing in “left wing” politics which means they think it is OK for a politcal leader to denounce the wealthy and powerful who control society.

Recent polls for who will gain the presidential nomination reveal that left wing leader Jean Luc Melenchon has soared into third place in pollling. He is blasting the wealthy and increasingly gaining support. Melenchon has now passed right wing Marie le Pen by gaining 15% versus 28.5 for Socialist Francois Hollande and 27.5% for conservative President Sarkozy.

Gee, it is nice knowing there is a nation in which it is OK to attact those with wealth.

Strauss-Kahn And Females–Again!

Dominique Strauss-Kahn is undoubtedly a very intelligent man, he is renowned for his ideas on economics and has served key roles in France and the world that deal with economic factors in society. But, for some reason, when a woman enters his life, action moves from the brain toward lower extremities of his body. In a word, this is a man who allows the PENIS to assume control of actions.

He is being charged by the French police with “aggravated organized procurement of prostitutes.” Prostitution is legal in France but organizing the process of supplying females to males is not Kosher. Dominique is rather confused about the entire situation. He claims that he “never had the least awareness that the women he met could have been prostitutes.”

I guess this rather small chubby man is very attractive to women–that is, women who like short, chubby men.

Proud Of Murders Says Brother

Mohamed Merah went on a murderous spree during which he killed several innocent people, including children. His brother, Abdelkader, is “proud” of what Mohamed accomplished during his brief period of life. In fact, brother Abdelkader is so proud that he also has explosives in his car and did help his brother to steal a scooter. It is always true that regardless of how terrible the crime, there will be those who empathize with murderers rather than victims.

The history of the 20th century is replete with stories of such men who just adore someone who killed children and innocent people because the crime was done in the name of some great idea.

It is also true that whenever a mass murderer is captured some politician takes the credit. Of course, if the murderer is not caught it is the fault of police officials. President Sarkozy got a nice bump in polls because police caught the bad guy and apparently two-thirds of French people give their president credit for not doing anything but basking in the glory of those who did something. Ah, the human condition

Who Are Racists In France?

Mohammed Merah lept from a bathroom window to his death yelling anger at Jews and French people who he regarded as oppressors. It is clear this deranged young man had no connections with al-Qaeda or any terrorist group, he hated and he expressed his hatred. Marine Le Pen, whose party historically was noted for its anti-Semitism, clearly expressed her ignorance, if not stupidity at what Berah did. She told France of her determination to “fight this war against these politico religious fundamentalists who are killing our Christian children,, our young Christian men.”

As far as I know, the only children killed were JEWISH! Le Pen and her father denied the Holocaust, and now they deny the deaths of innocent Jews. Standing off in the distance is President Sarkozy whose only interest in this horrible affair is how he can use it to get more votes.

After the horror in Norway when Behring Breivik killed dozens, the nation came together to find ways to prevent such tragedies. In France, political leaders are only interested in votes.

Tragedy In France Against Jews

A man on a motorcycle approached a Jewish school in France, took out two weapons and began firing on those waiting to enter the sch0ol. He then went inside, killed a rabbi and his two sons as well as another child. The man on the motorcycle then sped away. Last week a man on a motorcycle killed two French paratroopers and sped away. No one knows if there is a connection between these two events although there appears to be an amazing similarity.

We do not know if the man on the motorcycle is a Muslim or whether he is from the Middle East. In a sense, the man is a symbol of the modern world. He arrives from an unknown place, he kills without making a comment, and his victims are strangers. Many would feel a sense of comfort if we knew the man and knew why he killed. But, death in the modern world is all too often committed by those who do not know their victims. Their victims are members of some hated group which provides justification for the murderer to kill the innocent.

Children die, a man of religion dies, and we have no idea why. Ironically, the murderer accomplishes nothing other than death of the innocent. Such is the human condition in the 21st century.

Sarkozy-”Get Lost You Bastard!”

Nicolas Sarkozy is frightened of losing his bid for re-election as president of France. So, what better strategy than to shift to the right and seek support from bigots and haters? On a recent tour in rural France, the president was approached by a farmer and his wife. The wife noted how difficult were the lives of hard working farmers. He insisted she had plenty. “But, we don’t have wha you have in the bank.. we have nothing… we’re living hand to mouth.” He responded: “And, I don’t own 40 hectares. OK” The president of France than turned to the husband and said: “get lost you sad bastard.”

This man seeks to become leader of a nation. On his trip to Paris, Sarkozy blasted Muslim youth by describing them as “louts” and “rabble.” I assume these verbal attacks will secure votes from hating right wingers, but what do his words say about a man who wants to lead a nation?
