Go East Young Jew!

Throughout American history, people of European descent headed west into “open land” that was inhabited by animals and a few stray folks called Indians. Americans insisted it was their “manifest destiny” to occupy any land they believed was not being used for useful purposes. OK, so they had to kill or place on reservations those who apparently did not grasp that God was on the other side.

In Israel, those who have God on their side head east to the “barren lands” of the West Bank which has a lot of empty space and a few people who claim to own the land. UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon visited Israel and made clear, “all Israeli settlements are contrary to international law.” OK, so they go against international law, but does Mr. moon have any statement from God if kicking people off their land is against what He desires?

Heck, if you have God on your side it is OK to start a war.

Blast Away Says Israel

There is one approach to life and problems which is favored by members of the Israel government- if there is a solution to a problem, find the means to make certain it is not taken. Virtually, all military experts believe an air assault on Iran to destroy its nuclear facilities cannot be 100% successful. There is also virtual consensus that thousands of missiles will be fired on Israel cities from Lebanon and even Iran. But, to Israel Vice Prime Minister Moshe Ya’alon, we can blast to pieces Iran’s nuclear facilities without any problem. “The West has the ability to strike, but as long as Iran isn’t convinced there is a determination to follow through with it, they’ll continue with their manipulations.”

He believes Israel can take out all Iran nuclear facilities.”It is possible to strike all Iran’s facilities, and I say that out of my experience as IDF Chief of Staff.” Of course, it is one thing to “strike” a facility and another to “destroy” a facility. American military leaders admitted they lack the bombs to destroy nuclear facilities hidden in mountains, but to Israel that is making a mountain out of a mole hill.

Boom goes Israel, but, unfortunately, it can result in Boom On Israel!

Israel Goes Nuclear Over Iranian Nuclear

The world is deeply concerned about Iranian efforts to develop nuclear weapons which are regarded as a threat to peace in the Middle East. However, threats by the government of Israel also pose a threat to stability and peace in the region. Israel Defense Minister Ehud Barak made clear his government’s policy toward Iran. “We are determined to prevent Iran from going nuclear.” Recent articles from government sources argue the world exaggerates consequences of an Israel attack on Iran. However, a large segment of the Israel intelligence agency is deeply concerned about such actions.

What might happen if Israel bombs Iran:

1. Missiles will be fired by Hezbollah from Lebanon which would lead to an Israel invasion of that country.

2. There will be numerous examples of suicide bombers killing self and innocent civilians which would result in more Israel violence toward Palestinians.

3. Iraq will distance itself from this event.

4. President Bahar al-Assad will become the ally of Iran and undercut efforts to remove him from office.

“I’m Jewish, I Can Live Where I Want!”

Itai Harel, a nice Jewish settler inhabiting a hill located in the West Bank, which originally was seized by Israel troops during a war, believes he has a right to live where he desires because he is Jewish and God gave the Israelis the land of what is known as the West Bank. “Look at all this wonderful empty land all the way from Jerusalem, waiting for its sons to come to build and live in it.” In other words, we Jews in Israel can take any empty land not inhabited by people and build on it.

1700 in America: “Look at all this empty land which only has some Indians hunting in it, they will not mind if I build a house and farm on it. God willed that we Europeans had a right to build wherever we desired in North America. If you don’t believe me, check with God.”

1500 in Asia: “Look at all this empty land in what they call Siberia which is mainly inhabited by animals. God has given us the right to conquer, send anyone living here to death and take over the land. After all, how can one argue with God’s commandments?”

Israel Supreme Court Justice, Dorit Beinisch, put it bluntly to these Jewish criminals: “We can only hope residents of Migron accept their duty not to behave like hooligans and resettle in any other place the State allows them.”

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu believes Jewish hooligans have a right to live, at least close to where they steal land. He is preparing new homes for these criminals a few miles away. I think he is giving them another area that God has designed for Jews.

Israel Will Go It Alone

It is not surprising that President Barack Obama boasted of his firm support for Israel, given that he wants the support of American Jewish voters. He once again stood up for the inane ideas of Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and turned his back on peace. Back in the Middle East, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, finally gave up in his attempts to reach a peace agreement based on 1967 borders. “If we determine the borders it is possible to return to negotiations, but the Israelis don’t want to determine the borders.”

Bibi Netanyahu places votes from settlers and religious fanatics as more important than ending a conflict which has raged for over half a century.

Iranian Nukes Aid Israel!

Israel military planning division chief, General Amir Eshel argues that if Iran gets atomic weapons it would constrain Israel from striking at Palestinian forces in Lebanon, Gaza and would impair assaults on Hezbollah or Hamas. “If we are forced to do things in Gaza or Lebanon, under the Iranian nuclear umbrella it might be different.” He worries that a nuclear Iran is a threat to regional stability and to the survival of Israel. However, there is another way to interpret an Iranian nuclear weapon.

It would force Israel to engage in HONEST NEGOTIATIONS with Palestinian leaders like President Abbas. It would force Israel to end their aggressive and violent occupation of the West Bank and reach a reasonable resolution of this problem. An Israel which worked with Palestinians to create a new regional economic structure stands a better chance for long term peace and prosperity than an Israel which only relies on threats, war and violence against Palestinians. It is time for Israel to grasp the need to be a leader of compromise and peace.

Perry Proves His Stupidity!

One sometimes wonders if those seeking the Republican nomination for president receive secret injections of a “stupidity pill.” Rick Perry once again proved that becoming governor of Texas results in degeneration of one’s brain. Someone mentioned Turkey’s Justice and Development Party as Islamic which sent Rick off on a rocky road of nonsense. “Obviously, when you have a country which is being ruled by what many would perceive to be Islamist terrorists, when you start seeing that type of activity against their own people…. not only is it time for us to have a conversation about whether or not they belong to be in NATO but it’s time for the United States, when we look at their foreign aid, to go to zero with it.”

Rick did serve in Turkey during his time in service. Let’s look at the record:

1. Turkey has freedom of religion and there are still Jews in the country.

2. There currently is a fight over whether wearing the niqab should be allowed in college classrooms.

3. Name a terrorist group funded by Turkey is the real question!

4. Yes, there have been restrictions of freedom of the press and there is still conflict over the Kurdish issue, but these do not translate into terming Turkey a friend of terrorism.

5. Israel refused to allow aid to people in Gaza, Turkish boats were attacked and Turkish citizens killed. Turkey asked for an apology and Israel refused.

Muslim Myths

A high percent of Americans believe Muslims from this country have gone to the Middle East or Somalia in order to fight alongside religious fanatics. Every time a story is printed which identifies a Muslim engaged in violence some place in the world, it is certain to result in stories that American Muslims can not be trusted. A recent video from Somalia portrayed Jehad Mostafa, a University of California graduate, working with al-Shabab.

US government figures indicate about 40 American Muslims have gone overseas to fight with terrorist groups. Let’s look at the record

1. A few hundred American Jews went to Israel in 1948 to fight its war for independence, including several officers in the US Army.

2. Dozens of American Irish people have worked with the IRA, a terrorist group.

3. Hundreds of Americans volunteered to fight in the Canadian or British armies during WWII.

4. At least a few thousand Americans of German ancestry went to Nazi Germany and served in its armed forces.

Sos, 40 American Muslims have gone overseas to fight with terrorist groups!

Post Assad Syria Issues

President Bashar al-Assad is determined to retain power since he fears allowing free elections will end power of his minority Alawite group which has run the country for nearly forty years. Triumph of Sunni Muslims might result in Alawite flight along with that of Christians who are familiar with the end of Christianity in Iraq due to the Bush invasion. The government of Israel is making preparations for a POSSIBLE flight of Alawites and Syrian Christians who might seek refuge from an angry Sunni government which regards them as traitors.

The good news for Israel is less aid from a Sunni Syrian government to Hezbollah and other terrorist groups. The bad news is that a new group of Muslim and Christian refugees will flee toward the Golan Heights area requiring some form of camps to be built. Last year a group of Syrian protesters hit the Israel border resulting in several being killed.

Perhaps, Syrian refugees could be settled on the West Bank. Heck, everyone is taking land away from Palestinians, why not allow the Syrians to join in the plunder!

Be Grateful-And Shut Up!

During the past twenty years thousands of Jews from Ethiopia have been flown out of the nation in order to find new homes and lives in Israel. Of course, these are black skinned Jews who stand out among whiter and browner skinned Jews in the country. Recently, thousands of black Ethiopians protested against ongoing discrimination, lack of good jobs and need for additional education. They are upset at refusal to sell them homes in “good neighborhoods.” One Ethiopian representative, GAdi Desta told a group of Knesset members that “apartheid” was taking place in Israel.

When one dares to tell religious Jews they might be guilty of discrimination, they only have one response and it came from Immigration Absorption Minister Sofa Landver, “you need to be grateful for what you have received.”She insisted all that was possible was being done to assist Ethiopian Jews so why not just quit complaining and accept what is as what will be.

I was raised a Jew in bigoted America when it was normal for Jews to be denied the right to live where they desired or to get decent jobs due to quotas against them. If we complained the response was, “be happy you are in America and not facing death in Europe.” That is always the response of a bigot.
