Silvio, We Missed You!

Until I heard the news from Italy I had yet to realize what has been lacking in my life over the past year. I, together with the people of Italy have spent an entire year without reading about the sexual exploits of  its leader. Silvio Berlusconi has disappeared from the public scene, but after considerable reflection, Silvio wants Italians and the world to know his hat is back in the arena of politics!

Silvio informed the media that “I am returning sadly to the public scene. Again, I am doing it from a sense of responsibility.” WOW! Just think how the media will be happy, exciting photos of Italian leaders  in bed with some teenage prostitute, gobs of  money going someplace to someone. Ah, those wonderful parties attended by scantily dressed women whose legs are not only moving on the dance floor but are also opening new entries for public figures to prove they are open to     new vistas for their penis.

Godfather Or Godmother?

I used to work in an area known for its Italian gangs and so every day the guys would be standing in front of a bar exchanging words and talk about their manly deeds of bravery. For me, to be part of the Mafia was to be with men who  prided themselves on being “men.” A gay man in Sicily who has been threatened by the Mafia to depart from the political scene just will not go away. Rosario Crocetta is in line to become the first gay governor of Sicily, home of the Mafia.

If he gains the post of Governor, it will be the first time that an anti-Mafia candidate was able to win something. Mr.Crocetta is a devoted Catholic and is proud that fellow Sicilians are proving “there is a great respect for the individual, making it(Sicily) less homophobic than the north.”

I would love to hear conversations by Mafia bosses. I have a  hunch they will not be gay ones.

Silvio, Perhaps No Women For A While?

Silvio Berlusconi, champion of female rights to earn money may no longer be among us. An Italian court sentenced the billionaire to four years in jail for tax fraud. The case revolved around his attempt to purchase rights to US movies for his television network by manipulating various offshore companies in order to avoid paying taxes. Silvio denounced the sentence as simply another example of envy because he can bed any woman he desires and prosecutors are angry because they have been left out of his parties.

I suspect Mitt Romney is upset because a job creator has once again been halted by the “government.” Silvio created jobs for dozens of women, jobs  that led to high salaries and joyous romps at parties. Evil government will not recognize the entrepreneurs like Silvio are responsbile for the growth in jobs. How about placing in jail prosecutors who seek to weaken the Italian nation by throwing out of work hard working women? At least that would create jobs in the security sector of the economy.

Beware The Muslims

There are those who fear the growth of the Muslim religion since they regard such people as threat to the world. Of course, Muslims are only about 20% of the world population, but for a few in the Catholic Church, Christians may well be on the way out. Cardinal Peter Turksen is behind a video entitled, “Muslim Demographics ” which presents nutty demographics intending to prove that Muslims breed like flies.

The good Cardinal claims that “in just 39 years Europe will be an Islamic republic.” He insists the typical Muslim has 8 children as contrasted  with 1.8 for Christians. Duh, there is no truth about these statistics. A typical middle class Muslim family will have close to the typical Christian one. A hundred years ago it was the myth of Asians sweeping across the world.

The Butler Did It!

Paolo Gabriele has been charged with stealing secret documents from the Vatican. Paolo is the Pope’s butler which means that he MUST be the criminal and I don’t need Sherlock Holmes to help me uncover this thief. Mr.Gabriele admits to taking the documents, but claims he simply took them in order to help the Pope learn about what was going on since many Vatican officials hit information from their superior. One can only assume the butler also knew of corruption in high offices.

So, what does one do with a whistle blower who admits to stealing documents. He did what anyone in that situation would do-steal the documents and then turn them over to the Pope. Unfortunately, Mr. Gabriele did not turn over this evidence which leads to the conclusion that he is either lying or really does have concern for the Pope.

The story is living proof that the Butler Committed The Crime!

Anyone, Anyone But Silvio!

Silvio Berlusconi used his enormous wealth to  become prime minister of Italy and ruled as a virtual king for over a decade. During this time, Italy’s economy did not prosper and Silvio’s romantic encounters garnered more attention than any economic policy  he sought. Two Italian political leaders urged current Prime Minister Mario Monti to run for another term in order to avoid the spectre of Silvio returning to power and wrecking Italy’s economic reputation.

There comes time in modern globalization when a nation led by a man more interested in female flesh than in economic flesh can lead to utter ruin. Most Italilan business leaders simply do not want Silvio to return. As far as they are concerned, he can have wonderful parties with gorgeous women to his heart’s delight.

Silvio, you are a man for all seasons with all seasons of  women!

After Berlusconi, Comes ??

The people of Italy for over a decade basked in the warmth of Silvio Berlusconi who promised the good life even as he indulged in it just about every moment of his waking or sleeping life. He paid no attention to tax reform, to reorganizing and modernizing the government, or to stimulating a modern industrial and high tech society. However, he did enormous progress on sleeping with women and that alone should earn him a place in the Italian political hall of fame.

Matteo Renzi, mayor of Florence is attempting to be another dynamic attractive leader, but without the daily sex life Silvio, the Sex God for Women. Matteo is young, Internet savvy, talks about stimulating the economy and encouraging young Italian creativity. Matteo, unlike Italian politicians who feed at the trough of business, Mr.Renzi seeks monetary support from thousands of young Italians and those fed up with the stagnant society left behind by Berlusconi.

Naturally, most Italian politicians regard anyone who wants reform as somewhat “abnormal” or catering to the population rather than to those with money. Hell, this guy wants to take away cars and high salaries for doing nothing and their bodyguards. What next-actually do a full day of work?? I believe they want to reign in Renzi.

Silvio–Mafia Calling

Former Prime Minister Silvio Belusconi is being investigated for alleged links to the Mafia. Prosecutors claims that in the 1970s he  paid millions due to Mafia pressure with money going to Marcello Dell’Utri. Silvioi is charged with giving hush money to this man to avoid him telling the world about Mafia connections. Allegedly, he gave Marcello about $50 million. Silvioi denies these allegations.

As far as giving Marcello millions, “It was a gift. It’s not the first time I’ll give a present to an ex-manager.” I believe it is time for me to send Silvio a message accompanied by a black glove and note  I am not greedy. How about a million or so? Silvio says Marcello is a “well-bred person.” Silvio,so am I-and in spades!

Marcello and Silvio deny all these charges. Me, I would love being the object of such charges!

Don’t Whistle In Church!

Pope Benedict is a good man, an honest man, but apparently some who surround him simply use the Church as a piggy bank to make money. Paolo Gabriele, a 46 year old butler who works in the Vatican believes there are at least 20 other men like him seeking to expose graft and corruption in the Vatican. “The people, who like me, want to help bring some transparency number at least 20.” The Vatican denies that others are also under investigation for stealing papers.

Mr.Gabriele’s lawyer admits he stole papers, but argues it was done out of love for the Pope. Gabriele argues the gap between Vatican hawks and reformers has widened. He also fears for his life claiming one can get killed and “no one can say what happened.”

The Catholic Church is too important for it to continue ignoring reality of life in the 21st century. There are over 80 million Catholics in America and only a handful of priests and nuns being prepared to serve their needs.

The Spirit Got Him

There is no question that just about everyone these days is consumed by some sort of spirit. Sarah Palin insists she communicates with God, Rick Santorum believes God uses his mouth in order to tell the world what must be done. Here in Missour, a Republican won the senatorial nomination and told the world that God had halted wandering the universe in order to make certain a man from Misourri is the next senator from that state.

Why should one be surprised that the Pope’s butler thinks he had to tell the world about the “mysteries” of the Vatican. Paolo Gabriele, gave documents to a journalist which depicts scandal, corruption and God knows what other evils in the halls of the Vatican. Frankly, there are sufficient stories circulating about problems in the Vatican without feeling the need to listen to stories of the Butler.
