The killing of the innocent continues unchecked in Pakistan as Sunni Taliban and al-Qaeda focus on the slaughter of fellow Muslims in the name of saving Muslims from evil Muslims who associate with Western nations. Ostensibly, the reason offered to kill Shiites gathered at a religious celebration was to send a warning to the Pakistan government that it should not cooperate with Americans who are using drone planes to pinpoint the execution of militant leaders. However, a spokesperson for the Taliban warned the bombing was simply a prelude to another target: ‘we will launch attacks in America and Europe very soon.” He also boasted at killing women and children by emphasizing: “we take pride in taking responsibility for the Quetta attack” which followed their pride in kiling dozens in the Lahore murderous slaughter.
There is a peculiar approach to religion among Pakistan members of the Taliban. Their fellow countrymen are suffering under the onslaught of horrible floods, children are drowned, men and women flee in panic, but all that is on their mind is killing their co-religionists.
