Unlike, the United States, Denmark is granting asylum to any Iraqi who worked for their forces as an interpreter as well as their families and over a 100 aid workers. Despite Bush rhetoric about bringing freedom to Iraq, he refuses to allow unconditional asylum to Iraqis who have been assisting American military forces. It is obvious most face death at the hands of militants.
Just once, I would love Bush to back up his words with action. How can we Americans stand by and allow these people to get killed? They risked their lives to assist our forces and now death awaits. We are talking about a few thousand people so what is the problem, President Bush?
