New Islamic Party In Finland

During the past two decades thousands of people from Africa have migrated to Finland including at least 40,000 Muslims. Abdullah Tammi announced that he is establishing a new Islamic Party in Finland whose goals include banning the sale of alcoholic beverages in grocery stores or at kiosks. He also wants Muslim students excused from music classes at school or swimming.

At some point, individuals like Abduallah Tammi have to face reality. Finland is not going to become a Muslim nation nor are the people of Finland going to abandon drinking alcohol. There is need for Finnish Muslims to find ways of maintaining their values while also participating in Finnish life. Music is present in all aspects of Finnish life.
