Mayor Bloomberg, the billionaire who purchased his victory in New York City is against a bunch of noisy dirty folk causing trouble in the Wall Street area. Unfortunately, these people do not go inside and become part of Wall Street firms which lie to people, which manipulate the wealth of ordinary Americans in order to enrich themselves, and whose “dirty financial minds” lead to more disruption in American society than all the drums and clamor of OWS groups. Bloomberg closed down encampments in Wall Street and arrested hundreds of those seeking a healthy society.
As marchers once again shouted on Wall Street their desire for a new society which is not run for the pleasure and wealth of a few, police rounded them up on grounds they disturbed life of the wealthy. Gene Williams, a 57 year old bond trader, noted that he was “one of the bad guys.” He went on to express what OWS folk are trying to express. “The fact of the matter is, there is a schism between the rich and the poor and it’s getting wider.” Amen
