Google took another step in making the lives of people subject to the market forces of the advertising industry. It is launching what it terms, “internet-based advertising,” which is simply another way to say it will allow business organizations to obtain information concerning the lives of people in order to enable more effective advertising strategies. Once upon a time, a person had privacy, but once entering the world of the Internet the only privacy that exists is when the computer is turned off.
Or, do we know if they are collecting data when the computer is silent?
