Jewish McCain Supporters-Have They Forgotten Judaism?

Throughout human history, Jews have figured prominently in the struggle to further the ends of social justice and end war. When Martin Luther King marched, invariably there were Rabbis who walked step by step with him in the struggle to secure equal rights for Negroes, because as long as one person lacks human rights, so do Jews. The New York Times reported an email making the rounds among Jewish voters in Pennsylvania “equates a vote for Senator Barack Obama with the tragic mistake” their Jewish ancestors made in ignoring the rise of Adolf Hitler. the email was sponsored by he Pennsylvania Republican Party’s “Victory 2008″ committee and was signed by several prominent Jews from Pennsylvania.

How any person of the Jewish faith who has an iota of knowledge concerning the Holocaust can equate Senator Obama with the rise of Hitler suggests the individual is ignorant, stupid, or lacks any sense of the meaning of Judaism. It is shocking to think McCain supporters would sink to such a low, vicious and historically inaccurate version of the past and present. Hitler was responsible for the death of six million Jews–exactly how does that figure relate in any way with anything being advocated by Barack Obama?

I find particularly disturbing for Jews in the 21st century to make insulting remarks about Jews in the 1930s and 1940s as having “ignored warning signs.” Of the approximately 800,000 Jews in Germany about 600,000 left before WWII broke out. Most European Jews had no place to flea, and, when a shipload of Jews tried landing in America they were denied the right to enter. Perhaps, these ignorant Jews can explain exactly how Polish or Russian or Hungarian Jews could leave! The war was upon them before they could flee and when they wanted to leave, they had no place of refuge.

The remarks of Republican Jewish McCain supporters continue with distorting the remarks of Bill Ayers. He NEVER SAID he wanted more of 9/11 destruction. He DID SAY the Weathermen could have done more but he was not referring to death and destruction. John McCain and the idiot fool who is his vice president candidate continue lying about the words of Bill Ayers.

It’s Springtime For Hitler In South Korea!

A Soouth Korean cosmetic company has come under heavy fire by the Israel embassy in Seoul for its offensive advertisement which draws upon Adolf Hitler in order to sell a product. The Coreana Cosmetics Company decided on Tuesday to withdraw the television ad for a skin lotion which depicts a young womn in a military-style trench coat holding a soldier’s cap that appears to have the swastika-gripping eagle Nazi insignia and contains the slogan, “Even Hitler didn’t have the East and West.” Korad, the Seoul based agency which produced the ad, said it believe a Nazi soldier and Hitler symbolized “revolution” in keeping with the lotion’s “revolutionary” moisturing and calming effects. It said the reference to East and West emphasized the product’s dual functions.

If one steps back and reviews the entire matter of using Adolf Hitler to sell cosmetics and soap there may be a connection. After all, Hitler did have soap made out of humans so there is a linkage. Who knows, maybe Hitler could be used to sell caps or flags or even children’s toys, he did cause millions of children to die. Hopefuly, the Korean cosmetic industry can find other ways to hawk their ridiculous products.

Nader And Hitler-Two Minds In Search Of Purity

Let me make clear, I do not equate Ralph Nader with any actions of Adolf Hitler. I am focusing on the MIND PROCESSES of the two men. Both men have a sense they are creatures of destiny whose purity of soul far surpasses that of mere mortals. Both believe their actions are always correct and the consequences of whatever they do must be endured by the masses. During the concluding months of WWII, German generals tried to convince Hitler the cause was lost and some accomodation had to be made in order to spare the German people. His invariable response was that he would not waver in his quest to accomplish his goals and the situation was caused by failure on the part of the German people to work harder in order to gain victory. Hitler insisted his faith was still strong and the purity of his soul was unblemished. At points, he bluntly stated Germans would have to suffer because they had failed the ultimate test of gaining victory. In a sense, he displayed an “after me comes the deluge” attitude.

I find a similar thought process in the mind of Ralph Nader. He insisted in 2000 there was no difference between the election of Gore or Bush and the failure of Gore to win was due to an inept campaign, not to the two million votes drawn away by the Nader campaign. When the Florida election was brought up, Nader always insisted Gore lost it by not doing a better job of campaigning. In Nader’s mind, he is always correct, he never makes a mistake and if others do not do their job, they must then face consequences. Nader feels no sense of guilt for Bush’s triumph because, Ralph Nader remained true to his principles and his soul is pure and good.

Nader on “Meet The Press” said there was “not a chance” he would play the role of spoiler in 2008 and if the Democrats did not win by a landslide, “they ought to just wrap up, close down, emerge in a different form.” Nader claimed “American politics is saturated in taboos and self-censorship to a level where the greatest issues in the campaign are off the table.” He cited healthcare and global warming as two such issues. Of course, one of the biggest points of contention between Clinton and Obama has been healthcare, but in Ralph Nader’s world, only if things are discussed on the basis of his views can they be considered to be discussed. Clinton and Obama have consistenly raised issues of global warming, but all that is irrelevant to Ralph Nader.

Ralph Nader believes himself embued with the truth and his quest is not merely noble, but he alone knows how to speak about issues and he alone is in possession of the answers to political issues. If the American people refuse to acknowledge his truth, they must suffer the consequences. Ralph Nader votes in 2000 helped elect George Bush. Ralph Nader knows every vote cast for him in 2008 would have gone to a Democratic candidate, but if the Democrats fail to win, they have only themselves to blame and they must suffer whatever comes. His soul is free of guilt, he is pure in spirit and if America gets another Bush style leader, they only have themselves to blame.

Not once has Ralph Nader indicated a reflective soul who ponders consequences of his actions. He never second-guesses himself because he has complete belief in the purity of his goals. If one is pure at heart, then one can never be wrong. In that sense, he shares a remarkable similarity to the thought process of Hitler. He is NOT an Adolf Hitler in terms of actions. Both men regard themselves as embodying a purity of purpose that must be pursued to the bitter end and if people suffer due to their thinking, so be it. There is an aspect of Nader’s thinking which regards the disaster of George Bush as a positive thing because it arouses anger and may lead to the emergence of those whose purpose is pure at heart. He believes the more people suffer, the more they become aroused, and the greater the probability the end result is beneficial to society.

Mike Huckabee was asked his reaction to the Nader candidacy and he responded: “I think it always would probably pull votes away from the Democrats, not the Republicans. So naturally, Republicans would welcome his entry into the race and hope that maybe a few more will join in.” Ralph Nader doesn’t give a damn if his candidacy draws votes away from the Democratic candidate. The issue of his entry into the election is Ralph Nader — not the interests of the American people.

Russian Journalist A Criminal—He Insulted Putin

President Putin is continually insisting his nation is democratic, it has elections, the press is free to make any positive remark about the president they so desire, and everyone knows the only mistake is making a mistake about what one is allowed to say about the beloved leader of the nation. Igor Averkiyev, was called to the office of the prosecutor to answer questions about an article entitled: “Putin is Our Good Hitler.” The prosecutor had no problem with the “Putin,” but the “Hitler” word got to him. He was particularly upset at the comment that “like Hitler, Putin is our savior of the Fatherland, the guardian of greatnss, stability and order” who also “safeguards the country from enemies, both foreign and domestic.” Averkiyev blasted Putin for manipulating elections and tryng to pose as the all wise leader of the nation.

Perhaps, the prosecutor can explain why Kenneth Roth, executive director of Human Rights Watch, was denied a visa to enter Russia where he was going to discuss current human rights issues in Russia. This is the first time since the end of the Soviet Union that a Human Rights representative has been denied entry. Denying people the right to speak about human rights seems like Hitler stuff to me. I guess that cancels any plans I have to visit Russia.
