Sarah Palin’s Daughter Speaks Her Mind

During the past presidential election, Governor Sarah Palin used her daughter as a prop in the campaign trotting the young woman and her boy friend around to prove a point that to this day remains rather obscure. Ms.Palin thought nothing to exposing her pregnant daughter to the scrutiny of the world in an endeavor to prove that she opposed abortion. Bristol Palin was rather silent during the entire process of campaigning, but now has decided to speak her mind. Bristol, who is an unwed mother, spoke out against teenage pregnancy and disagreed with her mother’s view that abstinence was a solution to dealing with teenage sex. “I hope people learn from my story. It’s so much easier if you’re married, have a house and career. It’s not a situation you want to strive for.”

Bristol Palin is still engaged to the young man who claims he wants to marry her. But, he apparently wants to go on to college and in the coming years, his present desire may become less intense. The tragedy of this episode is not that two youngsters had sex and one became pregnant. The real tragedy is how people on both sides of the abortion issue attempted to use these young people as part of an agenda that had nothing to do with what Bristol and her boy friend wanted in life.

Sarah Palin is a politician through and through even if it means involving her daughter in the sordid world of politics.

Wither The Republican Party?

The Republican Party stands at an historic crossroad and must decide which road along which to venture. The American people have made clear the manner in which Republicans conduct elections based on questioning the loyalty of opponents and smears and lies are not welcomed among those who vote in this nation. There is no question, Governor Sarah Palin,is now a force in the Republican party. Palin represents the small minded bigoted approach to politics. As Senator McCain spoke his concession speech, boos and angry shouts against Senator Barack Obama filled the air. These people have no sense that an election is not between the loyal American and the disloyal American, we are all loyal.

If Palin assumes control of the Republican Party she will reduce it to a small groups of right wing fundamentalist fanatics who want to reduce their party to the past. Her voice will resonate well with minded people who believe the Earth is 10,000 years old and that women have no right to control their body and that unions are denied to working people. Her voice is not that of educated Americans. Those who have intelligence and understanding of the challenges of the 21st century will not vote for a Sarah Palin.

We believe the ascendancy of Sarah Palin marks the end of the Republican party as we know it. Moderate Republicans may well form a new coalition with Libertarians and create a new party that adheres to ideals of free enterprise and limited government, but one which accepts gay rights and and end to torture and an end to bigotry and small minded leaders. They will seek a new direction for the Republican party that does not include the ignorant person who is currently governor of Alaska.

Has Palin Paled In Eyes Of Appalled Conservatives?

A few weeks ago, conservatives hailed the arrival of Sarah Palin as a bright new aggressive voice in politics, but the sheen is wearing off and those who regard the interests of the United States of America as of more importance than supporting a woman in high office, are expressing serious doubts about the candidacy of the maverick from Alaska. Kathleen Parker, who welcomed a true conservative, is now writing in the National Review online that her “cringe reflex is exhausted” watching an ignorant and bumbling woman stumble through one interview after another. “No one hates saying more than I do…that I watch her interviews with the held breath of an anxious parent, my finger pressed over the mute button in case it gets too painful. Unfortunately, it often does.”

Parker now says although Palin represented a refreshing voice in politics it is clear she doesn’t know enough about economics of foreign policy to become president if a President McCain were to die. The Republican conservative urged Palin to save the party by bowing out “for personal reasons” and allow a more experienced person to represent Republicans in the election.

We live in strange times when a person such as Palin can even be considered for the office of vice president of this nation. She most probably represents the worst choice for high political office in the history of the United States of America. What does this say about the “experience” and “cool judgment” of John McCain?

Elect Sarah Palin– Avoid Witches In Your Life!

The ongoing saga of Governor Sarah Palin continues to dominate the media even as the nation is struggling with a huge financial crisis. The National Enquirer has printed an article which claims the vice presidential candidate had an affair with a business partner of her husband. The McCain camp is threatening legal action against what they term “the smearing of the Palin family.” However, the Enquirer insists three members of the man’s family insist there was an affair and one made a sworn affidavit to support the incident occurred. But, to make matters worse for the McCain candidacy, a YouTube video shows Sarah Palin being blessed three years ago by a Kenya pastor who prayed for her protection against witchcraft.

The video shows Bishop Muthee saying, “Come on, talk to Go about this woman. We declare, save her from Satan. Make her way my God. Bring finances her way even for the campaign in the name of Jesus… Use her to turn this nation the other way round.” After receiving the endorsement of God and Jesus Christ, Sarah Palin filed to run for governor of Alaska.

The video is clear evidence why America must elect the Palin-McCain ticket. Once in office, America does not have to worry about a financial crisis because Palin will simply talk to Jesus who will naturally give billions, if not trillions, to America in the name of Sarah Palin. Why waste our time talking with the financial community, let Jesus handle the problem.

Bill Clinton Says Nice Nice About Palin

Bill Clinton disagreed with those who make disparaging remarks concerning Sarah Palin as a vice president candidate. “I come from Arkansas…. People look at her, and they say, ‘all those kids… something that happens in everybody’s family. I’m glad she loves her daughter and is not ashamed of her.” Clinton believes voters believe Palin is just like they are, a woman with “wonderful children.” “My view,” said Clinton, “why say, ever, anything bad about a person? Why don’t we like them and celebrate them and be happy for her elevation to the ticket?”

Former President Bill Clinton often enjoys coming across as just one of the ordinary people in America and his words concerning Sarah Palin are pleasant ones. It really would not matter if Palin was your neighbor, the one who has a daily cup of coffee and talks about the kids. But, Sarah Palin, if elected might be the one who is making decisions regarding atomic war or the economic situation in America. Tell me, President Clinton, would you sleep peacefully knowing this nice lady was making those decisions? We are not talking about the PTA president, we are discussing the possible future of humanity. Of course, we must be critical of Sarah Palin because she has absolutely no knowledge or understanding of world affairs, let alone the American economy.

Lynn Forester de Rothschild-What’s Wrong In The USA?

Lynn Forester de Rothschild, a prominent supporter of Hillary Clinton has thrown her support behind the candidacy of John McCain who she believes will lead the United States in a centrist fashion unlike Barack Obama who would take the party “too far to the left.” She praised McCain for standing up to George Bush on his Iraq war strategy and dismissed the fact McCain had voted with Bush 90% of the time because he broke with the president on the stem cell issue and curbing greenhouse gas emissions. She also was excited by the prospect of a female vice president despite opposing Sarah Palin in the issue of abortion.

The support for McCain by a woman who helped raise considerable money for Clinton is not really an important story in itself. We report this news concerning Ms. de Rothschild because she is a symbol of what is wrong in the United States of America. Ms. de Rothschild backed the candidacy of Hillary Clinton and has now decided to support McCain-Palin who completely disagree with everything that Hillary Clinton fought for because she is excited at the prospect of a female vice president. Has this woman lost her mind? McCain-Palin oppose abortion, sex education for children, higher wages for low income workers, national health insurance, an end to torture of prisoners, etc…

Is the Lynn Forester de Rothschild tale of supporting Hillary Clinton a reflection that “X” percent of women who backed the New York senator were more interested in the fact she was a woman than in the fact she was an intelligent leader who had political, social, and economic ideas? Did this ignorant woman ever listen to what Clinton was saying? Hillary Clinton wanted an effective health care system, is that one of those “too far to the left ideas” the dear woman, who is married to a banker, opposes? John McCain is interested in global warming!! Really, then why is he focusing on drilling for more oil rather than fighting for new technology?

There is something terribly wrong with America when “X” percent of voters want “someone just like me” to be president. Our economy is in free fall, the last Bush budget had a deficit of $450 BILLION and women like Ms. de Rothschild want someone just like them to be president!! At the age of 78, I can only conclude the America of 2008 is headed in the wrong direction if some women want Sarah Palin to be the first female to hold high office. Is anyone interested in the economy, health, or our future as a successful society?

Ms. de Rothschild, your candidate John McCain has supported the war in Iraq from day one. He has no plan for peace in the Middle East since he never met a conflict for which war was not the solution. I guess for Ms. de Rothschild, the sight of Sarah Palin in charge of the USA during a nuclear crisis would not be disturbing. Oh well, I guess if you are a Rothschild, money is no problem and minor issues like lacking health insurance sure won’t keep one up at night.

Ms. de Rothschild, we have come a long way from Eleanor Roosevelt to Sarah Palin.

Sarah Palin-Sexism And Her Supposed “Sharp Mind”

I recently was taken to task by a woman who said my reference to Sarah Palin and skirts on a missile displayed male sexism. She also indicated, although a supporter of Obama, she respected the “sharp mind” of Governor Palin. The writer indicated great hostility towards George Bush but is thrilled at the “sharp mind” of Palin whose ideas are the exact same as Bush. There are women in America who are so thrilled at the idea of a woman running for a high office, that sex gender becomes more important than political, social, or economic views.

Part of the problem is the overwhelming majority of women who write on the Internet come from middle class backgrounds and lack any sense or knowledge of the lives of working class women or their interests. About one out of four Americans lives pay check to pay check, most of whom are women. Exactly how do these women benefit from the “sharp mind” of Sarah Palin? Let’s look at the record:

Sarah Palin opposes abortion. If abortion was no longer legal, middle and upper class women would find ways to get one. Not a poor woman.
Sarah Palin opposes health care. Certainly, this is an important issue for all women.
Sarah Palin opposes sex education for young girls and boys.
Sarah Palin opposes raising minimum wages.
Sarah Palin supports drilling for more oil as a solution to energy issues.
Sarah Palin opposes gay rights
Sarah Palin opposes legislation to ensure gender equity in the work place.
Sarah Palin supports huge tax cuts for the wealthy which results in the national debt rising.
Sarah Palin supports less government control over the housing market. How many people have suffered because of the lack of supervision?
Sarah Palin opposes legislation to make it easier for workers to organize labor unions.

Are these examples of her “sharp mind?”

Sarah Palin would risk war with Russia over Georgia! This is risking war with a nation that has the second largest nuclear stockpile in the world!
Sarah Palin talks about getting tough with Iran.
Sarah Palin did not know what the “Bush Doctrine” was when asked in an interview.

To be blunt, Governor Palin lacks knowledge of the complexity of the modern world and mainly goes along with Bush rhetoric. During the 2004 election, right wing women like Sarah Palin went along with attacks on John Kerry for his lack of masculinity in Vietnam and claimed he really did not fight but shirked battle. They belittled an American hero who risked his life while cowards like Cheney, Bush, and Rumsfeld made certain they would never get near any situation in which someone was firing at them. Women like Palin thought it OK to ridicule a man, but now Palin and her supporters become infuriated at the very notion anyone would dare make a comment that indicates she is a woman.

She is among the most dangerous candidates for public office in our history. If she ever took over the presidency, this nation would face the prospect of “sharp minded” Sarah Palin plunging the country into a nuclear war because she will not blink.

You can put lipstick on a pig, but Governor Palin still has an eight guinea pig power brain.
