Former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair while appearing before the Chilcot Inquiry into the invasion of Iraq in 2003 was caught lying about the infamous WMD which he claimed were there and then admitted they never were in Iraq. Once again, the man who claims to possess high moral and religious principles has been caught in a lie. Wikileaks documents reveal that an official in the Foreign Office supplied Libyan dictator Gaddafi with advice on how to arrange for the release from prison of Abdelbase al-Megrahi who was convicted of the bombing of a plane that resulted in the deaths of over two hundred people, including many from the United States. The petty dictator was involved in negotiations with UK officials, including special trade advisor Prince Andrew, on an agreement that would allow UK companies access to oil in his nation. The Foreign Office official advised Gaddafi how to use a medical report that said Megrahi had cancer. When Scottish officials released the murderer on grounds of compassion, Tony Blair insisted it was a Scottish decision and he had nothing to do with it.
If there is a Hall of Fame for liars, Blair can be a featured member along with his pal, George Bush and the Gold Dust twins of Don Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney
