It is refreshing these days to come across Republican politicians with a sense of humor. Wyoming State Rep. David Miller introduced a bill into the state legislature which would create a special task force to handle any doomsday scenario that might arise. You know, terrorists take over the state capitol of Wyoming. What then? Miller wants the task force to develop a military strategy which includes a new state currency if aliens descend to Earth and take us over.
A fellow state representative suggested the task force might develop a plan to build an aircraft carrier for a state that does not border on the ocean. Oh well, at least there is one Republican who can joke about the nonsense emanating from Republican political leaders.
