It is the year 2012, nine years since George Bush initiated an invasion of Iraq that resulted in destruction of the Saddam Hussein government and its replacement by–CHAOS. Instead of creating a viable multi-party government that fostered peace and reconciliation among all groups in Iraq, a Shiite dominated government emerged and it soon frightened Christians into leaving and made certain Sunni leaders would not have power. It is now 2012 and al-Qaeda is resuming its power in Iraq.
During the past few days over 100 people were killed in Iraq by al-
Qaeda and hundreds wounded. Al-Qaeda militants even drove up to an army base, took out their weapons and killed thirteen soldiers. No American troops will return. Unless Prime Minister Maliki gets some common sense, welcomes Sunni leaders into the government and ends sectarian bias, death and destruction await in Iraq.
