Mitt Romney has promsed the American people that he will reduce the deficit by ending unnecessary spending. He made clear during the recent debate the highest priority on his list of things America does not need is that nefarious Big Bird and the entire Sesame Street crowd of shiftless lazy bums. Sesame Street cost about $25 million to produce. Of course, oil companies receive over $40 billion in tax benefits.
How about giving oil companies $39 billion and nine hundred seventy five million and thus pay for Sesame Street? Mitt Romney once again made clear his attitudes toward life. A program that has educated millions of children is less important than rewarding Wall Street bankers with tax benefits.
