Boss Christie Warns And Threatens!

In a scene that could have been in any episode of the TV drama, the Sopranos, the mayor of Hoboken, New Jersey revealed being intimidated and threatened by staff of the Christie administration. She was informed by members of Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno, that if she did not agree to a proposal by the Rockefeller Group for a development project then she would not be sent funds from the Hurricane Sandy Relief fund. According to Mayor Dawn Zimmer, who kept a diary of her meeting with Ms. Guadagno in a ShopRite parking lot, there was a clear threat to her and the city of Hoboken. In blunt words, Guadagno said: “I know it’s not right. I know these things should not be connected, but they are. And, if you tell anyone, I;ll deny it.”

Such is life in the Christie state of New Jersey. The rich get what they want, and the poor people of Hoboken are simply hostages on the stage of corruption. Mayor Zimmer noted in her diary entry: “This week I found out that he’s cut from the same corrupt cloth that I have been fighting for the last four years.”
