Jeb Bush, the brother who once was governor of Florida and whom dad and mom thought would become the second Bush president is finally exploring possibilities of seeking the Republican nomination for president in 2016. He recently shocked Republicans by arguing that illegal immigrants who venture north seeking a decent living wage are merely men and women who love their families and want them to have enough to eat. Such talk is heresy among Republicans who believe Jesus came for job creators, not the poor, and certainly not the oppressed. Senator Jim Imhofe of Oklahoma noted there is currently in America “a bit of Bush fatigue” and thought Republicans were seeking someone who “engenders enthusiasm for the base.”
I wonder if the same thing is applicable to Hillary Clinton. I suspect she has been around too long and her work may be welcomed, but there is nothing new emanating from her lips. Many Americans prefer Ted Cruz who speaks nonsense, but oh so sincerely!
