China Lauds Iran Atomic Cooperation

Chinese State Councillor Tang Jiaxuan while meeting with Iranian government officials expressed hope Iran would abide by UN requirements in resolving problems related to atomic energy. He was pleased at “the cooperation that Iran is developing with the International Atomic Energy Agency.” Jiaxuan met with visiting Iranian Interior Minister Mostafa Pour-Mohammed who also indicated Iran would like to “peacefully conduct nuclear activities legally” and abide by international regulations.

Each time the United States utters threats to Iran, there is an angry rebuttal which only serves to hinder efforts by the IAEA to work out a solution with the Iranian government. The IAEA has already developed an action plan and it might work if threats cease.
