Czech Republic Mayors Oppose US Radar Base

Thirty one mayors in the Czech Republic have formed an association to protest construction of a US radar base in their region of the nation. The radar station has been strenuously opposed by Russia which regards it as a provocation. After being tired of hearing reports in the media that people in the Czech republic support construction of the radar base, Mayor Jose Rihak commented: “By forming this association, we wanted to make clear that most towns are in fact strenuously opposed to it.”

America, one again, is busy constructing weapons of war in friendly nations rather than extending peace and cooperation to the world.
