Czech Republic Worried About Russian Missiles

The Czech Republic now finds itself in a rather awkward position since it granted the United States permission to place an anti-missile screen on its territory. The Russian government has responded by erecting a new missile defense system which obviously is directed toward the Czech Republic and Poland, the two nations that will host American missile systems.

The Cold War is over, but not to George Bush. How did the world get in a position where missiles are being pointed at one another without any evidence that either party wants to attack? It is the Bush inability to be sensitive and intelligent in directing foreign policy which lays at the bottom of this new ridiculous controversy.
