Europe’s Last Dictator

Once upon a time, a long, long time ago, most nations in Europe were dictatorial centered, but as the Cold War ended so did most dictatorships. However, Alexander Lukashenko, the Belarussain gift to humanity does not intend to go along with those who speak about elections and people surrendering power. He proudly boasts: “I am the last and only dictator in Europe.” He told an interviewer, “You came here and looked at a living dictator. Where else would you see one?”

Lukashenko understands that his people, and they are “his people,” prefer to be led by someone who knows the truth, someone who is always right since that avoid messy arguments about what should or should not be done. Why waste time arguing, retreat into certainty. “Who needs double standards?Who needs instability in the heart of Europe?” Not me. Not MY People!
