“God Bless You”

There is a high school teacher in California named Steve Cuckovich who believes that students who say, “God Bless You” when a peer sneezes are guilty of believing in witchcraft. According to this “teacher” the expression derives from the old days when people “thought you were dispelling evil spirits out of your body.” Huh? Duh? Is it this man’s assumption that a typical teenager in America, let alone an adult, is thinking of evil spirits when they utter those three infamous words?

I assume students will lose 25 points for using expressions such as:

Saying they are St. Louis Cardinal fans since the St. Louis Cardinal baseball team in the “old days” was the most racist in America.

Of course the typical teen age girl wears revealing clothes that in “the old days” were considered work of the devil.

How about deducting some points of this idiot teacher and firing him?
