George Zimmerman is now safely at home and he will never confront the possibility of prison time. After all, he was “defending” his neighborhood from the evils of crime and criminals. Attorney General Eric Holder raised the issue as whether a “Neighborhood Watch” is really beneficial for the community. “We must stand our ground to ensure that our laws reduce violence and take a hard look at laws that contribute to more violence than they prevent.” Was there any need for a neighborhood watch in the Zimmerman community was not really addressed at the trial.
Fact: Crime has been declining over the past fifteen years all across the entire United States. Why: When the age bracket 17-28 declines so does crime whether one has Frisk Programs or not. As the age of a society increases-it is now about 34 in America, then crime declines. If one decriminalizes actions then crime declines. That is reality, not a neighborhood watch.
