A new French law takes effect this week which should be of interest to those who like to do a bit of drinking. The law now makes compulsory that every car in France have within its confines a breathalyzer kit which anyone who is driving should seek out after takings a few brews. The police will make random checks to determine if you used the damn thing after driving.
There is something about the notion of me being forced to test myself, and, in so doing, lead me right to jail. I believe the police should check people out, not people check themselves out. Of course, could we check out police for honesty?
