Mitt Romney is upset at President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela and wants President Obama to do something about this man. Hugo once again was elected president of Venezuela in an election which allowed him to control TV ads, sending millions of dollars to poor people and creating jobs for those who supported his candidacy. By any criteria of equality and acess to resources during an election, this is a runaway for Chavez and the empire he has built by using oil money to gather milllions to his banner.
During the past eight years he has done little to develop a vibrant economy that would have industries and new technology centers preferring to just drill oil and use that money. He has not developed the nation’s infrastructure nor has he done anything to create a modern educational system. However, he has won the allegiance of poor people by paying attention to their needs for food, clothing and shelter.
