John Boehner is head of the House of Representatives which ordinarily would make him an important man in government. On Saturday, he expressed agreement with a bill passed in the Senate that had support of both political parties. The bill would extend lower tax payments as well as extend the period for securing unemployment benefits. Let me see:
Both parties in the Senate agreed with the bill.
On Saturday, Congressman Boehner agreed with the bill.
On Tuesday, Congressman Boehner disagreed with the bill he agreed to support on Saturday.
The latest Gallup poll reveals only 11% of Americans are pleased with their Congress.
I guess most Americans do not realize the Tea Party runs our government.
Anyway, just remember if Congress passes a piece of legislation and the Tea Party does not like it, then…..
