British Prime Minister David Cameron knows he is on the right track to restore his nation’s economy. Just continue to fire people, cut government spending and the economy will bounce back and everyone will have a job. Oh, there are some minor glitches such as last month’s increase in jobless which reached 114,000 and gives the nation over 2.7 million without a job.
However, when one is doing the right thing, how can minor facts such as data get in the way. “I accept that we have to do more to get our economy moving, to get jobs for people, but we must not abandon the plan that has given us record low interest rates.”
Let me get this straight. You admit new unemployment figures are “horrific” but you don’t want to make any changes. I guess that makes sense if you want unemployment figures to continue rising.
