Insecurity Continues in Somalia

The American initiated war on Somalia which was carried out by Ethiopian troops has driven out the existing Muslim government, but tension continues. The interim government has instituted a curfew in Mogadishu and urged people to remain off the streets. Even as tension remains in the capital, there is evidence Muslim insurgents are beginning to attack rural outposts. It is the classic guerrilla warfare approach.

There is no doubt America urged and gave military support to the Ethiopian attack on Somalia’s Muslim government. As always, Bush enjoys lightening fast wars, as always, he doesn’t have any plan what to do after defeating the enemy. Somalia is now at the early stages of an insurgent rebellion. Fortunately, for Americans, Ethiopians soldiers will get killed, unfortunately for Ethiopians, they are the ones who will be attacked and killed.
