Iran Reflects?

I never cease being amazed at actions by Americans who wander the world oblivious to what is occurring in areas that dislike those from the USA. A year ago three people decided, having nothing better to do, to hitch hike along the border of Iran. They wound up in an Iranian prison. Mr. Amir Mirzaei Hekmati, a former member of the the United States Marine Corps decided to spend a pleasant holiday in Iran visiting relatives. He was arrested as an “American spy,” put on  trial and was given the death sentence.

The Iran Supreme Court has ordered a new trial for the former Marine. One can assume those in power seek to avoid an international incident by killing the American citizen. This is certainly good news. Isn’t it time for those desiring to see the sights of Iran to wait for a more appropriate time?
