Iranian View On Gaza Conflict

Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei strongly condemned Israel attacks on Gaza saying it was a humanitarian disaster and declared a national day of mourning in Iran. “The Zionist regime’s violent crimes in Gaza and the massacre of hundreds of innocent men, women, and children, once again showed the bloody image of Zionist wolves and revealed the negligence about the presence of this hostile disbelieve in the heart of the lands of Islamic ummah.” The Iranian leader was furious at what he termed “the silence of the Arab world, which is duty bound to support the oppressed people of Gaza n the face of the usurper and criminal Zionist regime.”

Khamenei also denounced the “criminal administration of Bush in the last days of his shameful rule, darkened the image of the U.S. regime more than ever and added to the disaster of war crimes” by encouraging Israel to attack Gaza. The Ayatollah posed a question to the media and Muslim intellectuals, especially the Arab world: “For how long have you decided to remain indifferent regarding your media and intellectual responsibility” concerning the situation in Palestine? He called upon all Arabs and Muslims to come to the aid of the people of Gaza.

    Hey is it any suprise that this lunatic condems Israel offensive , which was to protect Israels people from rockets delivered from Hamas,talk about bury your head in the sand,well there is plenty of that over there.Hamas now has a bloody nose for starting the problem in the first place and their leaders all run away to hide and left the foolhardy to take the consequences,unfortunately innocent civilians were killed in the process,but has Hamas learnt anything ?no their rhetoric is still the same so they will get more if they continue,shame the people cannot vote them back out as they cost so many lives.

    isreal will not go into gaza fighting like men they need there airstrikes and there heavy artillery support just like tha americans this shows how weak thay really are

    An “either/or” approach to Gaza misses key points. Israel blundered in its closing of the border crossings which only strengthened Hamas, not weakened it. Yes, Hamas fired weapons from civilian areas, but does that excuse the excessive response which resulted in 13 Israeli deaths and 1,300 Gazans including hundreds of innocent men, women, and children. I suspect Israelis would be furious if an enemy fired on children who were near militants firing weapons.
