It’s A Gas In Tahrir Square

Thousands of Egyptians are tired of the same old crowd of military leaders who enriched themselves under the rule of former President Hosni Mubarak and now believe the  solution for their nation’s problems is to continue making money while people go hungry. Pitched battles raged in the square as those demanding an end to military rule made their voices and bodies heard. Naturally, the response was sending soldiers into their midst firing tear gas. Latest reports indicate some people lost their eye sight.

The Muslim Brotherhood stood apart from the crowd figuring the military will come to them seeking a partnership in order to continue ruling. Those demonstrating promised a million people tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.  So far the only result is resignation of Cabinet members.

Who knows, tomorrow may bring conflict between secular forces and the Muslim Brotherhood which wants power.
