Reynaldo Cuevas worked in a bodega in the Bronx one of the infamous 47% that to Mitt Romney was really not entitled to government benefits or assistance. Two days ago while at work, three gunmen entered the store demanding money. Reynaldo fled the store seeking security outside. Unknown to him, the New York Police Department was waiting outside for the robbers. No member of the police department shouted for Reynaldo to halt, to identify himself. They just blasted away until Reynaldo was dead.
Bronx District Attorney Robert Johnson does not see any reason for charging members of the police department for a wrongful death. It was just one of those unfortunate incidents that befall those who are members of the 47%. That’s life–and Death.
