Math Problems Can’t Be Solved -Solve Them Or Fail!

The Swedish Royal Institute of Technology gave a test to students that contained several math problems. The 155 students taking the exam struggled for over two hours trying to solve the problems but found them too difficult. Finally, a professor entered the exam room and informed students that three of the five problems contained errors and could not be solved, at least not by a human mind. The assembled students asked a normal question — when can we retake this exam with problems that do not contain errors and can be solved?

Ha! This is the Royal Institute of Technology and we are a prestigious institution. They were informed they could not retake the exam and it would be graded with consideration for the fact that three of the five problems could not be solved.

Do you ever wonder if we would have been better off if the Neanderthals had beaten the Cro-Magnons?
