Nicolas Sarkozy And Money

It should come as no surprise that a man who was president of a country has been charged with secret behaviors that border on the criminal. The only surprise is why some consider this to be a surprise. Nicolas Sarkozy who was president of France from 2007 — 2012 has been detained by the police for questioning. To be fair, he voluntarily went to the police station and allowed himself to be questioned. According to the allegations, and, at this point, they are simply allegations, then President Sarkozy made a deal with then dictator Muamar Gaddafi of Libya for some money to finance his re-election campaign in exchange for what we do not know. According to police charges, Gaddafi handed over about $60,000,000 stuffed in envelopes that were given to Sarkozy by a French heiress named Liliane Bettencourt. The allegation itself would make a terrific film, an elderly woman carrying stacks of enveloped stuffed with thousand dollar bills and meeting in some obscure French restaurant for the payoff.

The tale goes on. Sarkozy with his mole in the police department who filled in the president with plans to entrap him. The police tap phones of the President. Now, this is a hard one to believe. Are we to understand that a president’s phone can be tapped? Hey, no problem believing my phone can be tapped, but the president of the country?? The story is bizarre, but then again, anything to do with presidents these days is beyond comprehension. They inhabit their world, and we citizens have our world. Never the twain shall meet.

My question: how do I find a dictator who will give me enveloped stuffed with money?
