The Iranian education establishment has decided to ban females from obtaining a fouus in 77 university majors. It is believed certain subjects lead to professions which are not conducive to “the female nature.” Among the banned majors are agriculture, business, computer scientists, hotel management and even English literature. It is estimated that 65% of Iranian university students are of the female persuasion.
I am confused. A high percent of Iranians live on farms. I assume that includes women. This ridiculous ban is simply another manifestation of allowing males to make decisions concerning the lives of females. I guess Todd Akin would fit neatly into Iranian society.
