We offer observations on the human condition from a 21 year old mind trapped in an 81 year old body.

If you fear being disliked, you will be.

It has been years since anyone told me they placed a string around a tooth, opened the door and yanked it out.

Fear is our companion in life. I wonder if it is in Death.

Some bang hand on table to emphasize point. I don’t.

All too often those who play it safe are out at first.

Harry Truman always said: “the buck stops here.” In modern America the buck never stops until it hits Wall Street.

In a group of elderly men, one has a moustache.

Old expression: “if you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.” I guess that is why there are no politicians able to cook up new ideas.

I enjoy life up to a point.  Then again, Death is pointless.

To never fear defeat is to at least once, experience defeat.

At age 81, I connect with teenagers.

I am shocked seeing someone in their fifties who looks elderly.

Old expression: “Right hand does not know what left is doing.” These days, I would prefer armless members of Congress.
