A successful political leader, leads, not follows public opinion.

All too many spume who they are is all they can be.

Some whine about fate, I accept it, but I may change its terms.

As a child, I accepted life as is, as an adult I often seek to change the “as is.”

Words not spoken can not return to haunt us.

I had an unspoken love for my pop.

My mother lived in anger, my father in silence.

From my parents I learned the importance of love.

People insist on toasting my bagel, I was raised with warm fresh bagels.

Since leaving the armed forces I have never worn a badge which informs the world as to who I am.

Interesting advice. “If you know the line that you will next write, cease writing and try again later.”

Some peer at newspaper as it lies on table. I do not.
