We offer observations on the human condition from a 22 year old mind trapped in an 82 year old body.

To study history is to know one is ignorant.

These days a woman pushes open the door for the man.

There is one valley all must traverse.

To be human is to have pain as a lifelong companion.

I do not recall the last time I chewed gum.

I do not recall the last time I said, “fraidy cat.”

I gamble cautiously.

We see in our past what we prefer to see.

Early morning in supermarket, a lonely time.

I wonder if God takes a Spring Break.

A smart person is one who never stops learning.

To modern youth, the past was yesterday.

Some sell knowledge, some sell ignorance.

I wonder as I wander.

I have always been interested in what is around the corner.

I never feel alone when alone, I am with me.

Some gaze in awe at iPad screen.

Some place finger on forehead when thinking.

Some use a thumb to make a point.

Some rock back and forth when talking.

I have a  hunch Jesus would not use an iPad.
