It has taken some time, but President Obama finally issued an apology to the American people. No, he did not apologize for focusing on health care in 2009 when the main issue was, JOBS, no he did not apologize for his inept handling of providing information concerning the Affordable Care Act so that people actually would know how it functions, no, he did not apologize for failure to establish working relations with members of Congress – Democrats or Republicans. No, he did not apologize for his failure to surround himself with people representing diverse viewpoints. He apologized for comments concerning Art History.
The president made a speech and said: “A lot of young people no longer see the trades and manufacturing as a viable career, but I promise you, folks can make a lot more potentially with the skilled manufacturing or the trades than they can with an art history degree.” Turns out that Professor Ann Johns of the University of Texas Art and Art History Department sent him an email. He emphasized that he was simply trying to make a point.
So, tell me, Mr. President, are your daughters seeking degrees in manufacturing or the trades??
