Sad Times Continue In Syria

The Arab League actually thought by sending observers to Syria in order to halt the blood bath unleashed by President Bashar al-Assad the result would reduce violence. That was yesterday, today Secretary General Nabil el-Araby threw in the  towl of peace and decided to wipe the slate clean of peace efforts. He announced mission unaccomplished. “It has been decided to immediately stop the work of the Arab League’s mission to Syria.” This is one mission whose soldiers were wiped out before they ever reached Syria.

There are increasing reports of defecting Syrian soldiers who are using their weapons of former members of the Syrian army. We might be witnessing early stages of a guerrilla war.
