The one absolute certainty about Pakistan is that this week another story will appear concerning someone in the government being charged with something or some father in a rural area killing his daughter because she fell in love with the wrong guy. Let us fill you in on latest developments:
1. The Pakistan Supreme Court ruled that Prime Minister Yusuf Ali Gilani is in contempt for failing to send a letter to Switzerland demanding investigation of the bank account of President Zardari.
2. The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, attempted to sit in trial on a case involving his son that dealt with corruption.
3. President Zardari nominated Makhdoom Shahabuddin to replace Gilani as prime minister.
4. The anti-drug squad announced it was charging the incoming prime minister with allowing illegal entry of drugs.
At this rate, yours truly will place his name in nomination to become the next prime minister of Pakistan. Perhaps, the Pakistanis need a nice Jewish boy as their leader.
P.S. I do not have more than $2,000 in my bank account and I do not use drugs. Do I qualify to become either president or prime minister of Pakistan??
