Student Day Protests Continue In Iran

There is no doubt students in Iran are standing tall in the fight for democracy in their country. Unlike American students who believe silence is the only weapon in the fight for equity in their land, Iranian youth understand they must agitate and fight on and on in the struggle to end the tyranny which controls Iranian society. After arresting over 270 people on Monday, the Prosecutor General released 96 saying they had expressed remorse for defending democracy or, most likely, he felt like a damn fool and knew keeping them in jail would not result in changes in attitude.

A group of security personnel surrounded the office of opposition leader, Hossein Mousavi who came out, walked toward them and said: “if your mission is to kill, beat or threaten me, go ahead.” They gazed at him for a moment, then turned their backs and left.
