During the 1960s when male hair length was among the most critical issues facing American society, many adults spent their days and nights checking out the hair of their children. I guess those people decided to migrate to Iran because hair police are out in force checking Iranian male students who wear their hair too long or pestering girls who wear a hair style that might not be appropriate. The hair attack as part of a police effort to ensure there are no demonstrations which might suggest there are a few people in Iran who do not approve of the administration of President Ahmadinejad. Police informed students they can only go to designated places and if they go to an undesignated one they can expect to have their head bashed in by the ever present Basij militia.

Ok there was a minor skirmish in Vietnam during the 196os but any person who is concerned about the health of society knows hair length was the real issue. On one hand, Muslim fanatics do not want males to cut their beards, but, on the other hand they don’t want Muslim males to wear hair on the top part of their head too long. We urge the Iranian police to form a special unit of lice police who can check for lice and in that way also check hair. At least they would be performing a public service.

How about Muslim Iranian leaders agreeing to end nuclear development if the West will support its anti-long hair reform movement?
