Uganda: An American Religious Success

President Obama and leaders of most European nations pleaded with President Museveni of Uganda not to sign the anti-homosexual law passed by his legislature. The bill provides 14 year jail sentences for the first offense of “aggravated assault” which in most nations of the world is termed, an act between two adults to engage in homosexuality. It also can lead to a life sentence for the desire to have a sexual relationship with someone of the same gender. President Museveni argues that he will not bow to interference in the internal affairs of Uganda from those western imperialists.

“We Africans never seek to impose our view on others. If only they would leave us alone.” Yes, just as Adolf Hitler in the 1930s simply wanted to kill Jews in his nation and was tired of being pestered by other nations who attempted to impose “their views” on sovereign Germany. The passage of this law represents a triumph for religious leaders in America who have propagandized for anti-homosexuality laws all over Africa. Rejected in America, these “Christians” went abroad to preach for a Jesus Christ who wanted to torture and beat fellow humans.
