Undisguised Racism

Colin Powell spent most of his adult life in the service of his country as a member of the armed forces and as Secretary of State under REPUBLICAN George Bush. He was Chief of Staff under REPUBLICAN GEORGE BUSH I, and played a key role in the Gulf War. One would assume that an individual who spent so much of his life in the service of his nation would be entitled to some respect as an AMERICAN. Alas, we live in the world of Republicans who only respect the service of those who accumulate millions.

Former Governor John Sununu, told CNN of his doubts regarding the former Chief of Staff. “Frankly,  when you take a look at Colin Powell, you have to wonder is this is an endorsement(for the election of Barack Obama) based on issues or whether he’s got a slightly different reason for picking Obama.” To suggest an American military hero places race over nation is insulting!
