US DID Torture

UPon becoming president of the United States of America in 2009, Barack Obama decided not to authorize an investigation of abuse of human rights during the administration of George Bush. Obama did not want to “look back” and believed it was “divisive” to have evidence emerge that former President Bush and the Gold Dust twins-Cheney and Rumsfeld–did anything bad. A new report by the Constitution Project, a non-partisan thinktank claims the Bush administraton tortured prisoners. “In the course of the nation’s many previouis conflicts, there is little doubt that some US personnel committed brutal acts against captives..but there is  no evidencethat had ever before been the kind of  considered and detailed discussions that occurred after September 1, directly involving a president and his top advisors on the wisdom, and propriety and legality of inflicting pain and torment on some detainees in our custody.

Sorry, President Obama you are the moral leader of this nation and you allowed torture and brutality to  go unpunished. In refusing to act, you DID support those who violated our Constitution and international agreements.
