Who is Who in Iraq?

George Bush has been claiming for years that al-Qaeda began in Iraq despite overwhelming evidence Saddam Hussein hated the group and everything it desired. Now, a new battle has erupted in Iraq between al-Qaeda and the Army of Islam. Both groups have been cooperating to fight the Americans and now they have turned on one another to increase the chaos reigning in the embattled nation.

Sheikh Halaf al-Ilyan, an Iraqi MP who has been actively involved in the insurgency listed his enemies: “Enemy number one is al-Quaida, enemy number two is Iran, enemy number three is the Americans.” Bush claims Iran is at the center of the insurgency and insurgents list Iran as an enemy. Do you ever get the feeling there was stability in Iraq until we Americans created chaos and we have no idea how to restore stability?
