One must admit that Donald Trump does have a unique approach in deciding who should be in his Cabinet. Historically, presidents selected individuals who have SOME knowledge of the Department they would head, but, leave in to Donald to create a new approach to who should lead a government department.
Ben Carson, former surgeon, now heads Housing and Development, about which his only experience is that he once lived in public housing.
Andrew Ruzder, a CEO of Hardee;s now heads the Labor Department, and insists that more raises in minimum wages would destroy the economy.
Back in 2012 when Rick Perry sought the nomination for president, he made a famous speech that dealt with Cabinet positions. “It’s three agencies of government when I get there are gone: Commerce, Education, and the um, what’s the name of the third, the third. Let’s see. I can’t think, third, I can’t, sorry.” Well, Rick, now you can think of it because you are the new Secretary of Energy. So, will you get yourself out of a job?
Oh, and Scott Pruit, the head of the EPA does not believe in climate change.
What next–Secretary of the Interior goes to a house designer, isn’t that what the Interior Department handles?
